Money Magicians

Money Magicians

During the month of February, Primary 7, along with the whole school, completed tasks all about MONEY! We were split into groups and given a character and had to look after their finances for a month. We didn’t realise adults had to pay so much for things. Every week we had bills to pay and the groceries to do, so we shopped around for the best deals. It was great fun and we learned lots about life in the real world. In the words of P7, “I don’t want to be an adult, it’s too much responsibility!” Kinga, Orlagh and Gemma were the best money managers, however, they were extremely lucky as they won £1000 on the Lottery and we all know that doesn’t happen every day!  We really loved the tasks though and even got to count all the money from the Money Mile as part of our activities. It didn’t take too long, but we realised once we had started counting that we have greatly underestimated how much had been collected! So, if any of you have any money concerns, come and talk to us, we may be able to advise you!
