Caoimhe, Pauline, Agnes and Patricia from Mary’s Meals came into school today to tell us all about the work that they do to help feed children all over the world.
Lent starts next week and we at CTK are helping fundraise to support the Mary’s Meals charity as part of our alms giving during the Lenten Season. Omagh Mary’s Meals help to feed children in a school in South Africa and we saw the wonderful work that they do to help those children less fortunate than us.
Each class has received a Mary’s Meals money pot and if you have any spare change we would greatly appreciate any donations. We will keep the money pot in Year 1 throughout Lent and will be encouraging children to bring in any spare change they have to help support this charity.
