On Tuesday 21st May, Primary 6 boys participated in a STEM day organised by the Christian Brother’s Grammar School Omagh. It was a fantastic opportunity for our boys to use fabulous facilities in the subjects of Home Economics, Science and Technology.
In Home Economics, the boys got to make their own pizza and eat it, use microscopes and experiment with chemicals in Science and make rockets in Technology using the school’s equipment and resources. There was a competition to see which rocket could go the highest by pumping pressure into the centre of it, before it launched into the sky. We had a fantastic day at the school and were well looked after by teaching staff and students.
