Year 6 Ceili Dancing
23rd Mar 2015
Year 6 pupils participated in a Ceili at the Omagh Strule Arts Centre on Wednesday 11th March. It was great fun and the children had learnt dances for the Ceili like: - Shoe the Donkey, Walls of Limerick, Seige of Ennis, Waves of Tory, a Barn Dance and a Highland Dance. Not only did they also dance to live music, the pupils got to showcase their own talents to other schools by performing a party piece which represented a mixture of Irish song, music and dance. The afternoon was great fun and thoroughly enjoyed by pupils.
