Christ the King Primary School has been a part of the Extended Schools Programme for a number of years now.

We are delighted to be a part of the programme as it adds more variety to the activities we already offer to our children.

This year we are running: 

• Wrap around care (Foundation Stage) - we offer a facility where the children can attend our early morning drop off club from 8:15am and avail of after school care in the various afterschool activities offered throughout the year.
  We work in conjunction with Strathroy Afterschool Club, which offers parents afterschool care until 5:30pm. This is a great help to parents and ensure the children are looked after in a child centred environment.

• Afterschool Gaelic football, Netball and Pro Soccer Coaching.

• Bring your parents to school- where we will invite parents in to school to take part in activities such as St Brigid’s Day making crosses.

Christ the King Primary School is also a member of the Omagh Cluster which allows us to share resources and programmes.
